Rope course

The rope park features 7 courses of varying difficulty. Put your skills to the test and take your first steps into the world of flying on our 12-metre swing jump!

There are various age and height requirements.

Pfideripark (children's rope course)

At Pfideripark, which is suitable for children aged 4 and over (recommended), there are three different adventure courses to enjoy. Climb across the net like a spider or soar between the trees like a bearded vulture.

Children must be accompanied by an adult on the ground.

Barbecue area & kiosk

As well as the climbing, there’s a barbecue area where you can relax. You can buy light refreshments and snacks at our kiosk.

Weather-dependent opening hours

Our season runs from May through to October. You can find our current opening hours on our website.

The rope park is closed in the event of storms, hail or thunderstorms. Keep an eye on the opening banner at the top right of the website!

Prices

Our prices are based on a visit of 3 hours at the rope park and 1.5 hours at Pfideripark. At both parks, you can purchase a day ticket for an additional charge.

We offer great rates for groups and families.

Clothes & Shoes

To visit the rope park, you’ll need closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

Age and height requirements

Rope course

Die Parcours müssen immer mindestens zu zweit begangen werden.

Children aged 6 to 9 (minimum height 120 cm) must be accompanied by an adult on the course. We recommend that one adult supervises no more than two children.

Children aged 10 to 13 must be accompanied by an adult or supervised from the ground. We recommend a ratio of 10 children to one adult.

For young people aged between 14 and 17, discOWer gmbh requires that their legal guardians have given their consent for them to use the Melchsee-Frutt rope park.

The maximum weight is 120 kg.

Pfideripark

Our recommended age for our children's rope course is 4 years and above.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Supervision must be provided from the ground only.

Pfideripark is physically separated from the rope park. If you are visiting Pfideripark and the rope park with children at the same time, we therefore recommend that there be at least two adult supervisors.

Groups & Events

School trip & group outing

Are you planning a school trip or a group trip and looking for an exciting destination?
With us, you can take advantage of our special group rates for groups of 10 or more. We also open the park for groups outside our regular opening hours.

Better safe than sorry: thanks to the latest safety technology, it’s impossible to become unhooked accidentally. For you, that means maximum adventure with minimum risk. Trees and structures are also regularly inspected and checked.

During the peak season, a bus runs every hour. The ‘Stöckalp’ bus stop is a three-minute walk from the rope park. Bus travel can also be arranged during the shoulder season. Parking spaces are located to the left of the Stöckalp valley station.

Whether you’re not afraid of heights or still a bit hesitant – we’ve got the right challenge for everyone. And if you need a break, you can relax at our large barbecue area with covered seating or grab a bite to eat at the kiosk.

Please get in touch with us for more information or to make a group booking.

We look forward to seeing you and your group!

Any questions?

You can buy your ticket directly from us at the ticket office.

We accept cash, Twint and card payments.

If you are able to pay in cash, we would be particularly grateful. That way, we can avoid the high fees charged by the major credit card companies.

Tickets cannot be purchased in advance from us. We strongly recommend that groups book in advance.

Bookings are not usually necessary for families and small groups. If the rope park is fully booked on a particular day, you will see this information in a pop-up window on our website.

You cannot book the public barbecue area. However, the barbecue area is large and has plenty of space for your food.

Additional festival benches are available if required.

The ticket price includes all equipment, including a helmet and gloves.

Our rope park is equipped with the latest generation of safety technology. It is impossible to become unhooked accidentally whilst climbing.

You’ll need closed-toe shoes, and we recommend wearing weather-appropriate clothing.

Unfortunately, our rope course is not wheelchair-accessible due to the forest path. Depending on the nature of the disability, a visit may or may not be possible.

We are more than happy to make whatever is feasible in terms of organisation and infrastructure a reality. Please get in touch with us in advance if you have any queries.
